Beta-lactamase activities and antibiotic resistance of staphylococcus and moraxella isolated from nasal and throat

Abstract (EN)

In thıs study, typing of isolated from upper tract infectious patients admitted toDışkapı and Ulus Child Hospital, according to phenotypic properties anddetermination of resistance of this Staphylococcus to various antibiotic,extended spectrum beta-lactamases, beta-lactamase enzyme activity were done.Total of 150 child patients 100 Staphylococcus and 5 Moraxella were isolatedfrom upper tract infectious. In this study Staphylococcus species S.aureus(%38), S.simulans (%19), S.saprophyticus (%18), S.haemolyticus (%13),S.warneri (%12) were isolated from upper tract infectious. Staphylococcusspecies in girl patients are: %40,38, %17,30,S.aureus S.simulansS.saprophyticus %19,23, S.haemolyticus %13,49, S.warneri %9,6. Staphylococcusspecies in boy patients: S.aureus %35,41, S.simulans % 20,83, S.saprophyticus%16,66, S.haemolyticus %12,5, S.warneri %14,58. We isolated 5 Moraxellacatarrhalis. We studied antibiotic resistance in all Staphylococcus isolation. It isfound SAM %4, SXT %8, AN %12, OX %11, VA %8 respectively. Activity ofbeta-lactamase enzyme was studied in all Staphylococcus and Moraxella. This isfound in Staphylococcus 44 samples (%44) and 5 Moraxella samples (%100)beta-lactamase positive. And Extended Spectrum Beta Lactamases (ESBL) wasstudied in all Staphylococcus and Moraxella.
