Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to reveal the yield and technological characteristics of some chickpea species in the ecological conditions of Van. The study being used 12 chickpeas which were enrolled in the land of the Faculty of Agriculture of Van Yüzüncü Yıl University was carried out with three replications according to randomized blocks trial design. In the study conducted, yield characteristics such as chickpea plant height, number of branches in the plant, number of beans in the plant, yield per unit area, first bean height, number of seeds per plant, wet weight, weight of 100 seeds and technological characteristics such as water uptake index, ash ratio, protein rate, wet volume, sieve test and baking time were explored. The results of the study revealed that most of the factors investigated were significantly influenced by the characteristics of the varieties. The highest grain yield was obtained from the Hasanbey species with 162.83 kg / da and the lowest grain yield was obtained from the Azkan species with 111.73 kg / da.
