Abstract (EN)
In this study, both Turkish Standard methods and air quality modeling studies were carried out for PM10 and collapsed dust pollutants emitted from the ready-mixed concrete plant in Tusba, Van. Fistly dust sources were determined in the plant and their concentrations were examined at 3 points for PM10 and at 2 points for settled dust. In the measurements made according to the Turkish Standard methods, stock area, between two conveyor belts and bunker as well as PM10 concentrations are; 0.29 mg / Nm3, 0.98 mg / Nm3, 0.67 mg / Nm3. In the measurements made according to the Turkish Standard methods, the average concentrations of dust collapsed in the on-site roads and in the stock area in the first month were 50 mg / m2 / day and 151 mg / m2 / day, respectively. In the measurements carried out according to the Turkish Standard methods, mean concentrations of the 2nd month in the on-site roads and in the stock area are as follows; 68 mg / m2 / day, 163 mg / m2 / day. According to the results of AEORMOD modeling, stock area, and their annual concentrations are as follows between two conveyor belts, bunker as well as PM10 24-hour concentrations respectively; 8,91 µg / m3, 5,46 µg / m3, 6,77 µg / m3. It is 1,70 µg / m3, 0,60 µg / m3, 1,11 µg / m3. According to the results of AEORMOD modeling, the daily concentrations of dust deposited on the plant roads and in the stock area are as follows; 11.97 mg / m2 / day, 11.98 mg / m2 / day and annual concentrations respectively; 3.20 mg / m2 / day and 3.94 mg / m2 / day. When compared with the limit values set out in Annex-1 and Annex-2 of the Industrial Air Pollution Control Regulation, it is observed that the measured and calculated results are below the limit values.
