Abstract (EN)

This research was conducted between 2017-2018 to determine the ability of adaptation of indigenous varieties in Van province such as Adilcevaz-13, Kaman-1, Maraş-12, Şebin ve Şen-1 and foreign varieties of Fernette and Fernor. In this study, morphological and phenological features of varieties and their effects on anthracnose and frost damage were investigated. At the end of 2017, the average rootstock diameter of the varieties ranged from 69.21 mm to 128.33 mm and at the end of 2018 they ranged from 125.46 mm to 172.25 mm. The best diameter development was realized in Şebin and Fernorda and the weakest development was in Maraş-12 variety. At the end of 2017, the average trunk diameters of the cultivars were found between 62.35 mm and 110.28 mm, and at the end of 2018, the range was found between 106.48 mm and 153.12 mm. The best body diameter development was performed in Şebin and Fernorda and the weakest development was in Maraş-12 cultivar. According to the results of the survey, leaf casting dates started with Maraş-12 variety on October 25, and ended with Fernor variety on December 10. In 2017, there were partial frost losses in Adilcevaz-13, Kaman-1, Şen-1 and Şebin varieties, and in 2018 losses were found to be in Kaman-1 and Şebin varieties.
