Abstract (EN)

Data acquisition activities from the seas include the tasks of collecting, recording and transferring the data needed by various sectors and researches to the relevant target in a healthy way. For this purpose, underwater, surface and both underwater and surface autonomous and non-autonomous data collection platforms are used. Autonomous water surface vehicles have been chosen as the main subject of this study since they can collect data from above and below water and are sustainable. Since autonomous marine surface vehicles are developed for underwater and overwater applications, they have an advantage over other underwater and overwater autonomous systems in terms of application variety. Wave gliders are new generation autonomous boats. These vehicles are designed to continue their travels by converting wave energy to forward force. Oceanographic surveys, climate surveillance, tusunami detection, port security and threat detection systems for critical marine structures and facilities can be classified as application types. Wave gliders are physically composed of three parts. These are examined in three parts as a floating body, which includes all the equipment and systems necessary for storing and collecting energy, the connection part providing the movement and energy transmission of the glider and the floating part and finally the wave glider. Within the scope of the study, the underwater and surface tools available today. It was evaluated in terms of its general structure and properties. The designed system of Turkey Ayvalik district of Balikesir province Assuming that served in the Gulf of Edremit design requirements are determined. The information required for solar energy data, which is one of the energy sources of the design, was obtained from the relevant data of the General Directorate of Renewable Energy. The average sunshine duration of Ayvalık district of Balıkesir Province was accepted as 8 hours. The average annual radiation value was 3.91 kWh / m2-day. In light of this information, the vehicle's daily energy consumption solar energy collection and storage system was designed. Edremit Bay average wave data T.C. It was obtained from the General Directorate of Meteorology of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and from previous academic studies. The average wave elevation of Edremik Bay for 15 years was determined as 0,80 m. In this study, Wave Glider platform and all system components were examined in detail. At the end of the investigations, a three dimensional solid model was created in the Solidworks design environment by considering the design features. The solid model communication systems are designed to incorporate energy collection and storage systems and wave glider structures.
