Abstract (EN)
The studies done about the earthquakes that shape the lives of human beings have started to focus on the issues of determination and analysis of foreshock precursor recently. Russian, Japanese and Turkish academicians found a lot of clues proving that the earthquakes are related to the dispersion in lower ionosphere. With the studies done, it was verified by examples that in various fields, some anomalies occurred in the phases before the earthquake formation. Among these fields, the title being the subject of the thesis covers the losses during the transmission of Very Low Frequency (VLF) signs over ionosphere. VLF sign generated from transmitter also has the information of the losses while being taken by the receiver in transmission environment. While a lot of parameters could be displayed as the reason for these losses, one of them could be the factors occurring before the earthquakes and searched in the thesis.Within the scope of this thesis, a study is carried out to estimate precursors occurring before the earthquakes. In the study, the research and compilation of the methods that came up as a result of the literature research were realized. In this field, as the most important problem about practice, development and analysis, algorithms that turn a lot of meaningless data into useful information and sort out faulty signs in it were developed. For foreshock precursor determination, a recent method that is not available in the literature was suggested. This method suggested with the practice developed in the scope of the thesis and an algorithm in parallel to data mining levels providing the work of existing 3 methods were developed. A suggestion was made about co-decision mechanism that makes this algorithm work.
