Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between the decision-making skills of the referees who are volleyball referees in professional volleyball leagues and their cognitive emotion regulation. The universe of the study consisted of Turkey A classification (N=50), EU classification (N=20), and B classification (N=150), a total of 199 participants, 51 female and 148 male, working in volleyball leagues. . The analysis of the obtained data was made in IBM SPSS v22.0 program. "Melbourne Decision Making Scale I-II" and "Cognitive Emotion Regulation Scale" were applied to the participants. In the analysis of the data obtained for the purpose of the research, parametric test Decrees were provided whether there were significant differences between the studied groups in terms of cognitive sub-dimensions and decision-making sub-dimensions, Independent Sample T Test was used when the number of groups was 2, One Way ANOVA Test if the number of groups was more than 2, and Benferroni test from comparison tests. Pearson correlation coefficient and materiality test were used to evaluate the relationship between the scales.Dec. The correlation coefficient was calculated as 0.39 and below weak relationship and 0.40-0.60 medium level relationship. In the analyses, p<0.05 was considered statistically significant. The analyses of the study were performed using IBM SPSS v22 program. The correlation coefficient was calculated as 0.39 and below weak relationship and 0.40-0.60 medium level relationship. In the analyses, p<0.05 was considered statistically significant. In conclusion; As individuals' decision-making skills increase, cognitive emotion regulation levels decrease, female referees' cognitive emotion regulation skills scale self-blame sub-dimension average score is higher than male referees, age does not have any effect on referees' decision-making skills, however, there is a study in the 20-32 age group. it was determined that the referees' cognitive emotion regulation skills scale self-blame sub-dimension score averages were higher than other age groups.
