Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is that to determine the relationship between value of cognitive anxiety, somatic anxiety, self esteem and value of competition statistics by applying C.S.A.I-2 on Turkish young national woman volleyball team players. 12 woman volleyball players who played group of under 20 young woman 2003 world championship qualification tournament are taken place in this research. Players' average age x =18.08, ±0.66, their average sports age is 6 x 5.75, ±0.45 year. To measure to state anxiety CSAI-2 and to collect the competition parameters DATA PROJECT- DATA VOLLEY statistics programes was used statistical analysis of collected data which are cognitive anxiety (BÎL.K.), somatic anxiety (BE.K.), self esteem (K.G), total serves (TS), point from serve (+S),, serve in game (OS), error in serve (-S), total reception (TM), good reception (+M), reception in game (OM), error in reception (-M), total offence (TH), point in offence (+H), offence in game (OH), error in offence (-H), total block (TB), point in block (+B),blok in game (OB) error in block (-B) done by Sperman Braun Rho technique. Statistical analysis shows that there are relations between first game's cognitive anxiety and point from block (r =.918), in second game's self esteem and total serves, in third game's cognitive anxiety and total serves (r = -.755.). In second game there are relations cognitive anxiety and point from serve and somatic anxiety and point from serve (r = -.866). In last game (third game) between cognitive anxiety and total serve (r = -.755); between cognitive anxiety and offence in game (r = -.667), between somatic anxiety and cognitive anxiety (r = -.718) relations are found. Data shows that when the cognitive anxiety and somatic anxiety increase, player's performance decreases and thus it may be related with the performance figures of CSAI-2 which a competitive state anxiety inventory. Also this result shows that CSAI-2 can noticed the relationship of CSAI-2 and performance parameters.
