The effects of the body mass index, serum lipid profile and AMH levels on early menopause symptoms

Early menopause (EM) is defined as menopause that occurs between the ages of 40 and 45. About 5% of women go through early menopause on their own, which included amenorrhoea prior to the age of 40, clinical indications of hypoestrogenism, a link to a viral illness and the effectiveness of hormone therapy. Premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), the incidence of amenorrhoea (for 4 months or more) in women prior to the age of 40 is characterized as a POI, In this narrative review, we evaluated the impact of lipid profile and BMI on the AMH levels in females, a study was carried out on total (n=120) of different groups (healthy, 35-40,40-45). The effect of BMI and (LDL, TG, TC) was highly significant with the increased age and negatively significant with AMH levels. The increase in the concentration of both (LDL, TG, TC) and over wight, obesity to the emergence of early menopausal symptoms especially in the age groups (40-45).
