Tourism is expressed as people traveling temporarily for various reasons such as sightseeing, entertainment, rest and pleasure and benefiting from existing tourism services. Today, the development of current conditions in tourism and the interest and curiosity of tourists have led to the development of alternative tourism types. Among the alternative tourism types, cultural tourism has developed rapidly. Today, many countries are making more than one plan in order to protect and maintain their existing cultural values due to the interest in cultural tourism. However, academic studies to determine the perceptions of tourists about their travels in tourism and cultural tourism contribute to the development of tourism. Our country has important regions and provinces in terms of cultural tourism potential. One of these provinces is undoubtedly Gaziantep. In addition to its current geographical location, Gaziantep has developed cultural tourism in the last ten years with its unique cultural values. In the study, it was seen that the tourists who visit the city every year mostly visit the central districts and this situation is expressed with statistical data and map method. In this study, Gaziantep's cultural tourism potential and the perceptions of foreign tourists visiting the city about travel and tourism of the city are discussed. For this reason, it is aimed to determine the tourism perceptions of travel and the city with the prepared questionnaire for foreign tourists.
