Neural network technical and educational broadcasting data mining sector

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how artificial neural networks which is generated from the natural neural networks in the human brain can be used in sales forecasting in the education publishing sector and to present an example of the most appropriate artificial neural network model for making sales forecasts. The daily operations of institutions makes thousands of data every day. Everything which is done, every step which is taken, an established communication, every data which is written has a meaning. The main target of data mining is to discover information about the data and to provide useful information which will be able to help the proses of decision. The information that is needed by many organizations is provided through a meaningful arrangement of information data. In this study, a company's datas were used where is in the education publishing sector. Some datas were taken from the company's system to find out criteria which is affected on sales amount. Factors of influencing sales demand; sales volume, number of students, household education expenditure, dollar exchange rate, number of customers, CPI and PPI It' s investigated that the results of the artificial neural network how much reflects in reality According to result; artificial neural networks are succesful future sales of educational publications.
