Find out the relation between self-esteem of high school students and their personal indecision

The aim of this study was to find out the relation between self-esteem of high school students and their personal indecision. This study was carried out to 249 students(139 female, 110 male) personal information form, self-esteem scale, indecision scale. The students were attending to 12th classes in Istanbul-Pendik Gulizar Zeki Obdan Anatolia High School and Fatih Anatolia High School during 2015-2016 educational terms. Personal information form includes some variables such as age, gender, parents education and their jobs. It also included students' house situation and their family's incomes as well as the number of individuals in their home. The research was analyzed by using descriptive and correlational analyses. Firstly, the score of self-esteem scale and indecision scale was determined and then the data was analyzed by SPSS. Meaningfulness was examined with p<0,05 level. Results were presented with tables. According to the results; there was a significant relation between self-esteem and indecision negatively. Namely, while the self-esteem of students was increasing, their indecision levels was decreasing.
