Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to determine how the anxieties of healthcare workers regarding artificial intelligence affect job insecurity and to identify the role of perceived self-efficacy in this effect. In this study, healthcare workers are addressed in the context of these variables. The research aims to identify the effect of healthcare workers' anxieties about artificial intelligence on job insecurity, to determine the effect of these anxieties on perceived self-efficacy, to assess how perceived self-efficacy impacts the perception of job insecurity, and to establish the mediating role of healthcare workers' perceived self-efficacy in the effect of artificial intelligence anxiety on job insecurity. The research particularly focuses on the healthcare sector as a field with intensive technology use. During the field study, the researcher was present in health institutions and applied data collection tools to the sample group. Firstly, the study is valuable in terms of being able to identify the impact of artificial intelligence anxiety, a relatively new concept in the literature, on the perception of job insecurity, which appears to be one of its major drawbacks. Secondly, it fills an important gap in the literature by identifying the reflections of how competent employees perceive themselves in relation to the issue.
