Abstract (EN)
In this work, removal properties of some human and veterinary drugs namely Gentamycin sulphate, Diclofenac, Metamizol sodium and Ivermectin by coagulation process were investigated. For this purpose, ferric chloride, alum and magnesium chloride were used as coagulants. Additionally, profillit which is a natural material was also used as a coagulant aid. For each cogaulant used, optimum conditins were determined including pH and dose. Under optimum conditions for each coagulant, cogaulation experiments were performed and results were evaluated. According to results obtained, depending on the type of pharmaceuticals, removal rates varied between 19-68%. Additionally, the usage of profillit contributed to removal rate about 9 % rise for each pharmaceutical tested.
