Abstract (EN)

The ever-increasing energy demand is driven by economic development and population growth. A significant percentage of this increasing energy demand comes from fossil-based sources. Today, the harmful effects of fossil-based resources and their being finite resources make the transition to renewable energy sources necessary. In order to turn renewable energy sources into an investments, their potential must first be examined. Then, cost information is important for the evaluation of this potential. In addition, the feasibility of projects belonging to renewable energy sources is possible if cost analyzes are made correctly and feasible. In this thesis study, cost estimates were made by emphasizing the determination of the potentials of new and renewable energy sources. For this, empirical equation models are proposed using power equations. The parameters of the proposed equation models were calculated using heuristic algorithm methods. Heuristic algorithm methods have the advantages of solving problems with high accuracy. These features were used to obtain cost estimates. Literature comparisons of the proposed empirical equations were made. Sensitivity analyzes of the obtained results were performed and their effects on the parameters were also examined.
