Abstract (EN)
This study is conducted in newborn unit of intensive care in private hospital. Effective parameters have been determined in intensive care unit for newborns. Length of stay is modeled with regression and biharmonic spline interpolation models according to the parameters of hospitalization. Length of stay is forecasted high reliably with biharmonic spline interpolation model with the values of first day of length of stay of newborns, MCH and HCT. Optimum catheter plans for newborn patients are determined with single or multi objective mathematical models according to length of stay. Infection minimization, additional time maximization and cost minimization objective functions are taken into account for this study. According to those objectives optimum/ effective solutions are obtained with single and multi-objective genetic algorithm models.
