The effect of adults religious orientation levels on perception of gender: The sample of Nevşehir

The aim of this study determines the impact of there ligious orientation of adult individuals on gender perceptions. For this purpose, 405 residents of Nevşehir province werereachedand the participants wereapplied the "Gender Perception Scale" developed by Altinova and Duyan (2013) and the "Religious Orientation Scale" made by the Turkish adaptation Cirhinlioglu (2006). The data obtained from the scaleswereanalyzed with the Spss 22.0 program and it was decided tousenon -parametrictests in the analysis. In the study, there lationshipalscreening model, which is among the quantitativere search methods, was preferred. According to there sults of the study, a significant difference was found between the gender perceptions of the participants and their gender and occupation. At the same time, a significant difference was found between participants' levels of religious orientation and marital status, age, occupation, level of religious know led geander religious status. How ever, it was determined that the social religious orientation, which is one of there ligious orientation level sandsub dimensions of the participants, has a significant effect on gender. In line with the finding sobtained as a result of there search, suggestions were made a bout the situations that are thought to have an impact on the socialissue.
