Abstract (EN)
Healthy and balanced diet is one of important parameters of healthy life. It has been reported that a diet with a healthy pattern can improve mental health, fatigue, quality of life and sleep in adults as well as meeting physiological needs. It has also been accepted as an important parameter in the treatment of inflammatory diseases such as diabetes, cardiometabolic diseases, metabolic syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis. It is stated that anti-inflammatory diet can be an important parameter in the treatment of fatigue. Individuals show different eating behaviors while meeting their nutritional needs. Eating behavior has an important role in food choice and building of healthy diet content. The aim of this study was to determine the possible relationship between dietary inflammatory index (DII) and eating behavior and fatigue in adult women. The sample of the study will consist of women aged 19-39, residing permanently in any city in Turkey, responding to the announcement made using social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) that they are willing to participate and determined to be suitable according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample size of the study was calculated as at least 200 people using the G Power 3.1.9.7 Package Program, taking the type 1 error level as α= 0.05 and the power of the test as 1-β= 0.80. Along with stress, depression and anxiety; It is defined as a common mental disorder. There is conclusive evidence that stress is associated with a variety of lifestyle factors. The anti-inflammatory diet has a potential role in improving health, treating fatigue, depression/stress and anxiety, healthy eating behavior and chronic diseases. As a result of the study, the eating behavior scale scores of adult women with high DII scores; fatigue scale scores; DASS-21 (Depression-Anxiety-Stress Scale) scale score is expected to be higher in all sub-headings of depression, anxiety and stress. Some anthropometric measures of women with a high dietary inflammatory load are expected to differ.
