Poverty and mi̇grati̇on: The case of Yüksekova

The purpose of this thesis is one of the main topics of international agenda; namely, investigate the relation between migration, education and poverty and to evaluate this relation for the Yüksekova district of Hakkari province. In order to obtain data for the district on the subjects of interest face-to-face surveys and interviews with local people were perfomed; observations were collected at regular intervals. For the district of Yüksekova with our survey study we tried to detect the causes and effects of migration, education and poverty topics and the size of the population affected by migration and poverty. The size and existence of forms of help, unrequited and only able to meet daily necessities that makes people passive consumers Needowners in Yüksekova been tried to be determined. This study is a first for Hakkari Province in terms of scope and scope of scope for Yüksekova District. For this purpose, demographic characteristics of immigrants, socioeconomic characteristics, states after migration and the perceptions of immigrants Yüksekova distirict is examined. This work is important because it is based on a detailed analysis of the numerical data obtained from face-to-face surveys and in-depth interviews with households as a solution to migration and poverty.
