Abstract (EN)

Cut-throat competition has been existing among firms in business world. Due to this dense competition, sometimes unethical behaviours have been emerged in firms. Managers s could show unethical behaviours are up to a lot of reasons. One of the reasons is that managers have different personality traits and managers generally decide about firm. Every human has different personality bacuse of congenital, family, culturel, environment, social etc. factors. Differences of personality traits of managers have been impressed their decisons, behaviours and conduct relative to business. If a firm emerges ethical or unethical behaviour completely relative to preference of human factor. In this study has been tried to explain the effects of personality traits of managers to business ethics. There are four chapters in this study. In first chapter is involved in definition, theory, factors which are determined personality and models of personality. In second chapter is involved in conceptual explanations directed at business ethics and morality, differences between business ethics and morality, relative concepts to business ethics (like law, social responsibility, culter, value and norms), classification of ethic in some view and factors which affect ethic. In third chapter is involved in relation between personality traits of managers according to Five Factor Model of Personality (Extraversion, Conscientiousness, Agreeableness, Emotional Stability or Neuroticism and Openness to Experience) and business ethics in firms. Last chapter is practical. It has been done with managers who are member of KÜT-AD and KÜG-AD in Kütahya region.
