Abstract (EN)
The aim of the this study is to investigate whether there is a relationship between independent director ratio and company performance for companies quoted at the Borsa Istanbul between the years 2009 and 2019. The findings suggest that there is no statistically significant relationship between the ratio of independent members of the board of directors and the firm performance.
