Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in sugar beet which was grown Yozgat conditions in different locations to determine the yield and quality. In 2015, it was carried out between April and November in Sarıkaya and Yerköy district. Four different harvest time (September 15, October 1, October 15, November 1) was used in the experiment. The experiment set up random blocks test pattern with three replications. The highest root (stem) length in 15 October and 1st of November (22 cm), root (trunk) weight in 15 October (1038.3 g), root (stem) diameter in 15 October and 1st of November (14 cm), biomass weight in 15 October (12.270 kg / da), sap purity October 15 (90.82 %), alpha-amino nitrogen in November 1 (0.062 %), molasses rate in 1st of November (2.32 %), root (trunk) yield 15 October (9345 kg / da), sugar yield in 15 October (1274.2 kg / ha) are taken from yerköy locations. The highest sugar rate in 1 November (16.6 %), dry matter content in November 1 (19.48 %), ash percentage in 15 September (3.42 %), head + leaf weight in 15 October (339.3 g) was obtained from the Sarikaya locations The survey results are considered, it is superior in terms of biomass feature Yerkoy locations to Sarıkaya and in the term of quality values Sarikaya locations were superior to Yerköy location. Keywords: Sugar beet, root yield, quality, date of harvest, sugar content.
