Abstract (EN)
In this study, kinetics of glucose removal were examined in the anaerobic filter operated mesophilic conditions. For this aim, 5 different organic loadings were done to the reactor during 24 hours for hydraulic retention time. The organic loadings were 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15 g COD/Lday, respectively. While removal efficiencies of 94% and 98% were achieved when the reactor was operating at loading rates of 3, 6, 9, 12 g COD/Lday, COD removal was decreased to 66% at the loading rate of 15 g COD/Lday. Also study results were applied to Stover-Kincannon kinetic model and kinetic constants Umax and KB were found to be 102.01g/Lday, 102.04 g/Lday respectively.
