Abstract (EN)
In the present study it was aimed to introduce all physical, hydraulic, hydrological properties of Nif River located on Gediz Base and having water quality of Class IV correctly to the QUAL2K river quality model widely accepted in the literature and to observe quality behavior of the river and to discuss the possible effects of the measures that might be taken.Model calibration was made in the present study considering the summer (arid) and winter (watery) periods of the current situation separately under the arid, watery and average flow conditions.In the next phase of the study, 4 different scenarios were developed for treatment preferences and technologies in order to possible effects of the measures to be taken and changes in water quality along the river was observed in the case of taking such measures. Thus, basic priorities were put forward in a healthy was in making base-management decisions.
