Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to understand the relationships between anger, intolerance of uncertainty, and emotional eating behaviors among Generation Z university students, and to determine the impact of demographic factors on these relationships. A quantitative research method was used in this study. According to the research findings, no significant differences were found between genders in terms of emotional eating, intolerance of uncertainty, and anger levels. In the marital status analysis, no statistically significant differences were found between single and married individuals for these traits, although the observed difference in anger levels was borderline significant. Analyses conducted based on age groups revealed no significant differences in emotional eating and anger levels across different age groups, while a significant difference was observed in intolerance of uncertainty levels. Specifically, it was found that individuals in the 21-year-old age group had higher levels of intolerance of uncertainty compared to other age groups. These findings suggest that the effects of demographic factors on these psychological traits can be complex and variable.
