Abstract (EN)
Recently, statistical convergence has become an active area of research and many articles were published in this area. Weak convergence is an important subject of functional analysis. After weak convergence was defined, a big gap in the literature was filled. In this thesis, weak statistical convergence of sequences in normed spaces was investigated. It was shown that weak statistical convergence is a generalization of the usual notion of weak convergence. Also we have introduced and examined a new concept of weak lacunary statistical convergence.
