Abstract (EN)
In our study, hydrothermal carbonization and slow pyrolysis was carried out for biochar production from olive wastes. For this purpose, olive wastes (olive tree prunning and two phase olive mill waste) used as biomass.HTC procedure was between the specified temperatures (200 - 260 °C) and the specified waiting times (0-240 minutes), The pyrolysis procedure was also between the specified temperatures (200-500 ° C) and the specified waiting times (1-2 hours). Considering Van Krevelen graph, the biochar we made was observed in lignite coal and its vicinity. The hydrochars formed by the HTC method also have a relatively small amount of ash to biomass and hydrochars have higher heating values. When the results are analyzed, the resulting data is a source of hope for a clean, green environment.
