03533 and 03534 numbered Kırşehir Population Registers (Transcription and evaluation) H. 1256 – H. 1260 (M. 1840 – M. 1844)

The result obtained from the census is a form of data collection that shows the economic and social power of states. Population censuses were carried out for the determination of young people who were taxpayers and in military age since the foundation of the Ottoman Empire. The census procedures carried out for these reasons differ depending on the periods and purposes. Studies and books related to this period have been carefully examined and comprehensive information has been tried to be conveyed. Population books to be analyzed by transcripting the Kırşehir's 03533 and 03534 population books, including information on the administrative, social, cultural and religious structure of Kırşehir, including neighborhoods, households, person names as well as kinship descriptions. It contains a lot of information. The census and works related to this period in Mucur and Hacıbektaş accidents in Kırşehir province between M.1840-1844 (H. 1256-1260) constitute the main source of this study. In addition to the population characteristics of Mucur and Hacıbektaş as of the period, the social economic structures of the neighborhoods and villages will be conveyed by combining them with a cultural context. In addition to the physical characteristics of the people who are subject to the census, their occupational status, nicknames and similar issues will be conveyed. As of the period, new information will be transferred as a result of the transcription and examination of the population books numbered 03533 and 03534 of the accidents in the Central Anatolia region of the Ottoman Empire.
