Özet (EN)
This research aims to examine the relationship between group cohesion and life satisfaction of 1st League volleyball players. The research was designed in a relational model. 100 male volleyball players playing volleyball in the 1st League participated in the research. In the study, data was collected both face to face and online. Group Vigilance Scale was developed by Carron, Widmeyer and Brawley (1985). The Group Crass Inventory consists of a total of 18 items, including four prescribed jaundice subscales. The scale was adapted for Turkish athletes by Öcel (2002). Life Satisfaction Scale (Lavallee, Hatch, Michalos, &McKinley, 2007) was adapted into Turkish by Akın and Yalnız (2015). While the validity and reliability analyzes of the Turkish form of the scale were conducted, 295 university students studying at Marmara and Sakarya Universities were studied. The average age of the students participating in the study was found to be 21.03. In the confirmatory factor analysis, it was seen that the unidimensional model gave a good fit (x 2 = 11.46, df = 4, RMSEA = .080, CFI = .98, IFI = .98, GFI = .98, AGFI = .94, SRMR = .033). Item-total correlation coefficients of the scale. with 31. It is among 61. Cronbach's alpha internal consistency reliability coefficient of the scale. It was found to be 73.Group cohesion and life satisfaction of volleyball players playing in the 1st League were collected through the scales used in face-to-face research. SPSS 21 software was used to analyze the data obtained in the research. During the data analysis process, skewness and kurtosis values were examined to evaluate whether the data showed a normal distribution. The fact that the skewness and kurtosis values were between -2 and 2 showed that they were appropriate values for normal distribution. In the research, parametric analyzes were applied to normally distributed data, while non-parametric analyzes were applied to non-normally distributed data. Independent samples t test was performed for two independent variables, and one-way analysis of variance anova analyzes were performed for more than two independent variables. Kruskal Wallis test was applied to non-parametric research data. When the data obtained as a result of the research were evaluated, a low negative relationship was detected between group cohesion and life satisfaction (p<0.01).
