The Ottoman Empire combined the legal heritage and cultural heritage from other Turkish states that had taken its place on the stage of history with Islamic law.The vast majority of the Ottoman Empire, the Anatolian Seljuk, Great Seljuk and Abbasid States have a legal order based on Islamic law.This shows that the system is composed of a law in which custom law and ecclesiastical law is applied together.Thus, different types of sanctions have been applied to the types of crime occurring in the society according to the rules of ecclesiastical law and custom law. Retaliation punishments constitute one of the most severe punishments. Retaliation lawsuits include an area that contains almost no error within the Ottoman judicial system and the penalties to be applied are determined by the law.We will see how fair and fast the Ottoman judicial system has done in this unforgiving branch of error that we have reviewed in the retaliation book of number 10.
