Student views on the level of accessibility to the 10th grade guidance program acquirements

It was aimed to determine student opinions about the level of attainment of the acquirementsof the 10th class guidance program in the research. The opinions of the students were examined in terms of gender, type of school, settlement location, educational status of the parents. The survey model was used. A questionnaire was developed to identify student views. The questionnaire is a five-point Lichert-type questionnaire consisting of 51 items Inaddition, to obtain certain information, questionnaire-1 for demographic information and questionnaire-2 for students' opinions on the 10th class guidance course were applied. The research was conducted on 573 student senrolled in 9 different secondary schools located in Düzce city center. According to the results of the research, it is seen that the 10th grade students reach to the guidance program acquirements in general. According to the gender variable, 38 items showed a meaningful difference at the point of reaching the guidance program acquirement sand it is seen that all of the meaningful difference is in favor of the girls. At the point of reaching the acquirements of guidance program, it is seen that there is a meaningful difference in favor of the students in science education according to the type of school type. It is determined that there is a meaningful difference in only 2 items according to the settlement variable. According to the results of the research, it is seen that the fathers' educational situation influenced the student views on the acquirements of 10th class guidance program more according to the education level of the mothers'.
