Registering books are among the important records enlightning the history of Ottoman Empire. These books give quite useful knowledge, especially on local history researches. Registering books include knowledge about the villages, fields, taxpayers and the population of the region they related to. Being the study subject 109 numbered registering book includes knowledge about the Uzeyr sanjac which entered the sovereignity of Ottoman Empire in 1516. In this thesis study, the registering books recorded in H. 928-M. 1521 are translated. Also, the subdistricts belonging to Uzeyr sanjac in that time and the settlement and socioeconomic condition committed to these subdistricts are investigated. Uzeyr sanjac is constituted to three subdistricts that time. These are; Arsuz, İskenderun and Uzeyr. These subdistricts are researched in the evaluation part of the study. Alsao, it is presented knowledge about the subdistricts such as; Antakya, Kınık, Berendi and Bakras which are mentioned in 109 numbered registering book in evaluation part.
