Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to determine the misconceptions of the 11 and 12th class students who have previously operated the unit ?Chemical Rate of Reactions?. This identification is very important to prevent the misconceptions in the learning process of the students and to contribute to the works to be done in the future in order to correct the misconceptions in this unit.Scanning model of research in the study group; 11(58) and 12(62) class students in Denizli Hasan Tekin Ada High School, a common school, in 2009-2010 academic year. A total of 120 students. The 24-item two-stage Rate&Concept of Chemical Reactions test, which is developed by researchers and the reliability of which is identified as 0.811 as a result of pilot implementation, is used.As a result of research, it is identified that 11 and 12 graders have misconceptions in the unit ?Rate of Chemical Reactions? with respect to the topics like reaction rate, active integrated complex, the reaction rate-collision theory, reaction rate-temperature relationship, the reaction rate-concentration relationship and reaction rate equation. Keywords: Chemical Education, Rate of Chemical reactions , Misconception
