Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to analyze the date of birth distributions of boys playing football in the age group of 11 and 12 years and to examine the effects of date of birth distributions on physical and biomotor properties. In Izmir and Manisa provinces, 260 athletes participated, 4 of whom were professionals, a total of 10 infrastructure teams. In the study, 8 different data on age, height, body weight, BMI, explosive force, speed, flexibility and agility were evaluated. SPSS 24.0 package program was used in statistical analysis of the study. Before data analysis, it was tested whether the data was normal distribution. For Normal distributed data, the ANOVA test (Tukey technique as a multiple comparison technique) was used in multiple comparisons and The Independent Samples-T test was used in binary comparisons. For data that do not show Normal distribution, Kruskal-Wallis tests were used for multiple comparisons and Mann-Whitney U tests were used for binary comparisons. As a result, significant differences were observed between the height and body weight values of 11-and 12-year-old athletes and the months of birth. According to performance test values, no significant differences were found in the 11-year-old athlete group, while significant differences were found in all parameters except flexibility in the 12-year-old athlete group.
