Abstract (EN)

A total of 30 students, 15 in the experimental group and 15 in the control group, studying at Akkuş Imam Hatip Secondary School in Akkuş district of Ordu province has participated in this research, which is conducted to examine the effect of life kinetic training on some coordinative abilities in children aged 11-13. In line with the purpose of the study, data are collected by applying pre-test (first measurement) and post-test (final measurement). After the pre-test, in addition to the physical education and sports course, the life kinetic training program is applied to the experimental group for 45-60 minutes once a week for 12 weeks. The control group, on the other hand, has attended only physical education and sports lessons. The study is carried out on a voluntary basis by giving information about the research and measurements to the experimental group and control group. The groups are selected through unbiased assignment in the study. Flamingo Balance Test, Sit Reach Right and Left Flexibility Test, Touch Discs Test and 10x5 Sit-Up Test have been applied to both groups to evaluate the data as pre-test and post-test. SPSS 25.0 Statistics package program is used in the analysis of the obtained data. Since the data do not show normal distribution, the "Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test", one of the nonparametric tests, is applied to the dependent groups in order to determine whether there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. The significance level is evaluated at the (p<0.05) level. As a result of the findings obtained from the tests, a significant difference (p<0.05) has been found in the Flamingo Balance Test, Sit and Reach Right and Left Flexibility Test, Touching Discs Test and 10x5 Shuttle Test of the experimental group. In the control group, a significant difference (p<0.05) has been found only in the Touching Discs Test. According to the results of the "Wilcoxon Signed Rows Test" conducted according to gender, a significant difference is found in the Flamingo Balance Test and 10x5 Shuttle Test in the male experimental group (p<0.05), while a significant difference is found in the Tapping Discs Test in the control group (p<0,05) is detected. A significant difference (p<0.05) is found in the Flamingo Balance Test, Sit and Reach Left Flexibility and Touching Discs Test, which are applied only to the experimental group in girls. No significant change (p>0.05) is found in the control group. Based on the research data, it has been concluded that the Life Kinetic trainings applied in the 11-13 age group has affected the coordinative abilities of the children.
