The aim of the study is to determine the level of preparedness of the personnel working in 112 ambulance service in Burdur province for disaster and emergency situations. In our study, the scale developed by KARABIYIK in his master's thesis in 2010 was used. Our study consists of ten chapters. In the first two sections, the concepts of disaster and emergency were emphasized and the differences between them were discussed with examples. In the third section, disaster management and its phases are emphasized. The fourth chapter in Turkey and disaster management systems of some countries around the world have been examined. 112 ambulance service to the importance of disaster management system in Turkey was examined in the fifth chapter. In the sixth chapter, the disastership of Burdur province and the characteristics of 112 provincial ambulance chief physicians were examined. In the seventh section, the materials and method of the research are specified. The population of the study consisted of 392 people working in 112 provincial ambulance service, 260 people who agreed to participate in our study. The level of statistical significance (p <0.005) was accepted as applied scale. The result of the "Cronbach's Alpha" test of our study was found to be 0,984. The scale we use consists of nine parts. The first eight sections were evaluated as disaster and emergency preparedness criteria. In the last part, the socio - demographic characteristics of the staff who participated in our study were examined. Findings are given in the eighth part of our study. In the ninth part, the findings are compared with similar sources in the literature. The tenth part consists of results and recommendations.
