Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to examine secondary school students' enjoyment of physical activity and educational stress. 454 students studying in secondary education institutions in Suluova district of Amasya province participated in the research. "Personal Information Form", "Educational Stress Scale" and "Enjoyment of Physical Activities Scale" were used in the data collection process of the research. Independent Samples T Test, One Way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Analysis and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis were used in the SPSS 25.0 program to analyze the data. At the end of the research, it was found that the students experienced moderate educational stress. It was observed that the students' enjoyment levels of physical activity were above the medium level. It was found that school stress in students differed significantly according to the variables of gender, school type, family monthly income level, interest in sports, weekly physical activity frequency and secondary education achievement score (p <0.05). It was determined that students' enjoyment levels of physical activity differed significantly according to gender, school type, sports involvement and weekly physical activity duration (p<0.05). In addition, it was found that there was no significant relationship between students' enjoyment of physical activity and educational stress (p>0.05). As a result, it can be said that enjoyment of physical activity does not affect educational stress in secondary school students.
