The determination locus of control according to possitions in between 15-19 ages male soccer players

In this study, it is aimed to investigate the relationship between the positions played by male football players between the ages of 15-19 and the locus of control with a scientific approach in terms of internal auditing and external auditing. The main problem of the study is the way in which players perceive and interpret the concepts of success and failure as well as to determine the direction of locus of control according to positions of the players. The universe of the study consist of academic and amateur league football clubs in Adana. The sample group consist of 174 male players between the ages of 15-19 playing football the in the academic and amateur league 2018-2019 season. Wingate Sport Responsibility Scale and athlete information form were used as data collection tools. Kruskal Wallis test was used for data analysis and Spearman correlation test was used to determine relationship. The significance value of the data was avaluated as (p<0.05). As a result of data analysis male football players 15-19 were found to have higher scores on external control weighted scores than the scores obtained from WSARS (p>0.05). It was determined that there was no significant difference between the positions of the players and the mean scores obtained from the WSARS (p>0.05). It was determined that there was no significant relationship between the positions of players and the locus of control according to the scores obtained from WSARS (p>0.05). In addition there was no significant between the players age, number of siblings, family mounthly income, year of doing sport, number of weekly training days and mean scores obtained from the WSARS (p>0.05).
