Abstract (EN)

Cakeri who had been one of the poets grown in Classical Turkish Literature field within the 15th Century, has taken his place in Turkish poetry history by Divan he arranged in accordance with the traditional poetry forms. The Poet, who had stuck to thematic and formal rules originated from Classical Poetry within the historical process, had written his poems within the framework of facilities provided to him by poetry tradition. As far as can be seen from his works, he seems to be an artist who had been well-educated, cognizant to characteristics of poetry and conscious about the cultural aggregation of his own society.Within the analysis of Divan, subject matters hold in the poems, linguistic features and literary style observed in these subjects, images and metaphors utilized in the poems have been tried to be explained by considering the main points about the general features of the era, life philosophy of the society, religion, tasavvuf (Islamic mysticism) and Classical Persian Literature.Key Words: Çakeri, Divan, Classical poetry, 15th century, analysis
