Musical factors in the saki-names of the 16th and 17th centuries (Examination)

This study has been examined to important divan, mesnevi, ode and saki-name works period of including 16. And 17. Century. The Saki-name works that emerged as a result of our research and have been examined in detail. Musical terms of each couplets have been identified and translated into today's Turkish and their meanings were tried to be explained into the works. Our study has been examined in four part. Ottoman musical of the period has been our advisor resource in this study. This study's historical development has been considered by giving detailed information about saki-name works. Additionally, music and music forms were analysed. This study in which Turkish music is related to poetry, asserts the musical comprehension of the period and the poetry and its appeals.
