Many establishments were formed in the Ottoman State to form the organization of the state starting from its foundation. One of the most important establishments formed by the Ottoman State is the Royal Stables organization. The Royal Stables (Has Ahûr) of the Ottoman State had undertaken many important duties including transportation, communication, campaigns, military services, ceremonies, festivals, sports and hunting. In this study, administrative structure of the Royal Stables organization in the seventeenth century, number of troops and numbers of personnel, daily allowances of personnel, and names of troop chiefs and their fees are studied. Number of personnel of the Royal Stables taking place in the campaigns, numbers and types of animals used by the Enderun and Birun members of the Palace, and also numbers and types of animals kept in the Royal Stables are established Sultanönü Sanjak, which had undertaken an important duty in breeding of foals, has a significant place in supplying quality horses for the Palace. Numbers of foals bred in Sultanönü Sanjak foal farms were evaluated based on the foal breeding codex. In addition to foal breeding, it was attempted to determine the way of procuring animals to the Royal Stables, and sires of animals delivered to the Royal Stables. Animals bred in the centers connected to Royal Stables, which had organized in Anatolian and Rumelian regions systematically, personnel in these centers, and numbers of woods, meadows winter quarters, summer pastures, stables, stables and barns were given. Products and amounts of products of the woods and centers of the Royal Stables are stated. Way of supplying chaff, barley and weeds supplied for the animal bred in the Royal Stables and related expenses are stated. Materials purchased to be used in the Royal Stables and repair expenses are determined. The personnel of the Royal Harness Inventories under the Royal Stables, objects found in the Inventories and their numbers, ways of acquisition of these objects, arts used in the manufacturing of these objects and motifs used has been determined and explained.
