Abstract (EN)
This study is about the life and the collected poems of Hikmeti who was one ofthe poets of seventeenth century. Hikmeti?s name is not mentioned in sources. Sothere is not any informatin about him.There is one copy of his collected poems. Some parts of it were not readbecause of the damp spots.The study is formed from three chapters. In the first chapter, there areHikmeti?s life, his personality and his collected poems; in the second chapter, thereare form and content features of his collected poems; and in the third chapter, thereis the text of the collected poems.Hikmeti is an average poet. The only aspect which attracts attention of hiscollected poems is the orginality of his poets order.Key words: Hikmeti, collected poems, form, content, metre.
