The religious report are the register of Kadı judgement and the matters passing to the court. This registers are one of the important sources at the Ottoman History Studies. Especially, they consist of important in formation on the studies of city history. 245 pieces document in Karahisâr-ı Sâhib Court Registry was applied to transcription and translated in to today Turkish and was evaluated in a determined plan because court registries have important position at city history. In the notebook, it was not possible to determine sub -provinces, towns, villages and parish names and distribution and names of some positions places regarding to administrative and physical structure of our Afyonkarahisâr Province, belong to stated years. Beside this, at the court registers that we examined, regarding to social life; we reached to important data that would be enlighten to social structure as people, their parishes, marriages, divorces, heritance and alimony cases. The study will clarify privately Afyonkarahisar as well as generally Otoman provincial system. It will certainly contribute to future studies on the same or similar topics.
