Diffeculties and facilities that the Syrian youngs have experienced when they had come to Turkey at under eighteen

With the spread of the "Arab Spring" movement in the Middle East countries to Syria in 2011, the internal turmoil in the country left its place to the civil war that threatened the safety of life and property of the citizens. This civil war has become a driving force in the country and forced Syrian citizens to migrate. This migration took place both inside Syria (internal migration) and outside Syria (external migration). Turkey came first among the countries that were affected by and received immigration from non-Syria. Turkey has given temporary protection status to immigrants with its "Open Door Policy" discourse. The uncontrolled movement caused social, political and economic problems in Turkey, as well as tensions and conflicts between local citizens and immigrants. In this study, the problems and opportunities experienced by Syrian children who took refuge in Turkey when they were under the age of 18 due to these conflicts were tried to be questioned through the example of Çankırı province. In this context, first of all, the relevant literature was scanned. Afterwards, the data was tried to be collected in the field study with the in-depth interview technique within the scope of the qualitative research method on the semi-structured question paper suitable for the subject. The interviews were conducted with Syrian children under the age of 18 who took refuge in Turkey. The fieldwork was carried out with participants who could speak Turkish during their stay in Turkey. In the study, it was observed that the majority of the participants experienced difficulties in the economic field and they made an effort to resist these difficulties due to the fear of being sent back.
