The analsiys of Divan of Edirneli Kâmî who is from 18th century poets

ABSTRACT This study is based on thematically analysis of divan of Kami who is from 18th century poets. The poet, also known as Edirneli Kami, had taken a good education and had taken lessons from Hoca Neşati and La'Li Mehmed Efendi. But, he was in the shadow of Nabi, Neşati and Nedim who were master poets in that period. When it is looked at the divan of relevant poets, it is possible to encounter some poems which are in connection with poems of Kami in terms of "nazire". At the introduction part of our study, it is given information about 18th century's political, social and cultural forms. And then, it is pointed out the life of Kami, his works and his literary identity. Except introduction part, our study is analyzed under the subjects such as first part: "Religion" , second part: : "Community" , third part: "Human Being" , fourth part : "Nature". Every part has been divided into its own subhead and in them it is given information about relevant items. Those provided information has been supported with sample couplets.
