Abstract (EN)
Çıldır, as a transition zone due to its location, is located in an important geography that has traces of human life since prehistoric times. This point, where the Caucasus and Anatolian geography meet, is also the crossroads of cultural-social meetings-transitions. This geography, where the first evidence of human life (Başköy Rock Paintings) and the life processes of societies in all historical sections has existed uninterruptedly, has hosted many civilizations and dominations. In the second half of the 16th century, Çıldır, who passed from the Iranian Turkish-Safavi domination to the Turkish-Ottoman Empire, also gave its name to the province that was established with the conquest of the region. The records of the Nefs-i Çıldır Sanjak Male Census Book of Çıldır Province, which was made in 1836, were transcribed based on Ottoman Archive documents. Some changes over time were analyzed by referring to the cadastral records dated 1595 made after the establishment of the province of Çıldır and the book "Our Villages in the Last Organization of Mulkiye" dated 1928. How happy if it has contributed to the history of our land, like a drop in the ocean. Anahtar Sözcükler: State, Nefs-i Çıldır, Population, Notebook
