Genocide policy of Armenians in North Azerbaijan between 1905-1907

The purpose of this research is to examine the genocidal policy of the Armenians in northern Azerbaijan between 1905-1907. In this study, in the context of this main purpose, the Armenian atrocities that Azerbaijan has been exposed to are examined in the context of Northern Azerbaijan. The research was developed based on a literature review. Historical sources and reports were examined. In the examinations made, it was determined that although Armenians tried to base their nationality on past dates in order to establish their own historical identity, this situation was unfounded. As a matter of fact, although the Armenians gained their independence in 1991, they remained under the Ottoman and Russian patronage until recently. When the Armenians, who came to the Northern Azerbaijan region from various regions with the help of Russia, began to settle in this region, the Azerbaijani people were already residing in these regions. The Armenians, who became economically stronger for the process, massacred the Turks in the northern Azerbaijan region with the support of both the diaspora and Russia. It has been determined that the main purpose of Russia's placement and support of Armenians in this region is to create a buffer zone politically and militarily. In the examinations made, it was determined that the massacre that the Turks were exposed to in the northern Azerbaijan region was mostly in the Baku, Revan and Kuban Zangezur regions.
