Effects of European men's fashion over Turkish men's fashion from 1923 to 2013

In this study, the influence of European male apparel fashion on Turkish male apparel fashion between 1923- 2013 was studied. Following the introductory chapter, in the second chapter, through the trend fact, factors that have impact on fashion had been analyzed together with the fashion and apparel concepts. In the third chapter, with a general overview on male apparel history, man apparel transition by years together with the years' circumstances had been dwelled on. Streams which affect male fashion in Europe and apparel features of these streams were examined. In the light of reforms which comes along with Republic, the change in male apparel in Turkey, the influence of Europe and male trend with periodic streams had been examined by years. Similarities and differences between Western and Turkish trends were examined year by year.In this research male apparel had been examined between 25-50 age group. In terms if apparel style, citizen male apparel (classical male apparel) had been addressed.
