Abstract (EN)

In this study, that is done with the qualitative research method, for the purpose of researching the parallelism in between, post 1945 avangarde art movements and the programs of establishments that give licence level art education.The data concerning the method is obtained by literature scanning and interview forms. The reseach group consists of students and art educationinsts from; Gazi University Faculty of Fine Arts Painting Department, Gazi University Faculty of Education Department of Fine Arts Education-Painting Teaching, Gazi University Faculty of Vocational Education Department of Applied Arts-Vocational Painting Teaching, Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts Painting Department. In the analysis of the data that was obtained by the interview forms, ?qualitative content analysis? method was used.Considering the research results, it is seen that, current art education programs are insufficient in meeting the post 1945 artistic changes and various arrangements are needed to be done. Furthermore, the quality of the educators, point of views and the methods used in the lessons efffect the result more than the classes in the program, related to the subject technical opportunities and lack of foundation are in important given factors.
