Abstract (EN)

As a result of the changes in the political and economic structure in the historical process, different social norms have been formed. These norms have been formed as a reflection of the ideology of the government, and the spread of these norms varies according to the perspective put forward on the subject. Accordingly, it is possible to say that the women's movements that emerged in certain periods of history emerged as a revolt against genderism. The women's movements, which increased rapidly after 1980, presented a perspective that questioned gender and rejected gender discrimination to a large extent. The reflections of feminism in the field of art, on the other hand, have emerged with works that want to reflect this as well as questioning gender. When the works that emerged in the time period after 1970 are examined, it draws attention that women artists criticize male dominance and try to find their own identity, even if there is no certain political stance. The first part of maintaining this ability is; The emergence of feminist theory and daily general information are included. The next part of the study is; The connections of feminist theory on art were evaluated and examples of women artists who wrote works on feminist theory and various feminist works were included.
